Kanye West compares himself to Hitler

On Monday, fans got their first look at Jay-Z and Kanye West’s new collaboration album, “Watch the Throne.”
However, another Kanye controversy overshadows the album’s debut.
During the Big Chill music festival in England this past weekend, West declared he feels as hated as Adolf Hitler.
“I walk through the hotel and I walk down the street and people look at me like I’m (expletive) insane, like I’m Hitler.” West continues, “One day, people will understand everything I ever did, ever said, was to throw myself on the blade for the sake of someone else.”
West’s notorious reputation and self-pity led to his 2006 Rolling Stone cover where he posed as Jesus with a crown of thorns.
In 2009 at the MTV Video Music Awards, he stormed on stage after Taylor Swift won an award for best female video and told her Beyonce should have won.
When raising money for Hurricane Katrina victims in 2005, West said, “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.”
Billboard magazine Senior Correspondent Gail Mitchell told CBS News, “I think Kanye is being true to Kanye. I don’t think he thinks he’s doing anything wrong.”
Jay-Z and West’s album is highly anticipated. Mitchell said, “They’re on-track with that album to first-week sales of 400,000-500,000.”
